One time, the Chinese Communist government captured many Christians of the Church of Almighty God from a particular location late at night. This matter caused a huge commotion locally. It triggered discussions amongst the members of the Three-Self Church. Some people believed that the Eastern Lightning has suffered the Chinese Communist government's cruel suppression and persecution. It is too dangerous to believe in the Eastern Lightning, and it is safest to believe in the Three-Self Church. They will not suffer hardships and they will be able to enter the heavenly kingdom. Other people believed that the Eastern Lightning is indeed the true way, but the persecution and arrest it faces is too severe. If they were to believe, they thought that it is better to believe in secret. Once the Chinese Communist government topples, they can believe openly in Almighty God. Some people had investigated the Eastern Lightning and yet, they believed that the Eastern Lightning spreads the gospel and bears witness to the Lord with no regard to life or death and that they are praised by God. They thought that the people who hide inside the Three-Self Church are cowardly people who drift through life without purpose and that they are not worthy to enter into the heavenly kingdom. … After this heated discussion, was everyone able to know what kind of people are praised by the Lord and whether the fearful can enter into the heavenly kingdom?
Yu Congguang is a gospel preacher from the Church of Almighty God. Because he was pursued by the CCP government while preaching the gospel, he fled to the mountain and got help from Zheng Xun, a co-worker of the local house church. Both of them felt like old friends at the first meeting. Zheng Xun took Yu Congguang to the thatched shack where he and his co-workers attended meetings. There, Zheng Xun’s co-workers had a debate on whether a believer in God should obey those in power, and Yu Congguang gave fellowship in light of this issue and dispelled their puzzlement. That fellowship benefited them all a lot and they started to seek and study Almighty God’s work of the last days. However, when Elder Sun of the local church learned that Yu Congguang was a preacher from the Church of Almighty God, he tried every possible means to seal off the church, preventing the believers from looking into the true way. He went door-to-door searching for Yu Congguang and even incited the believers to call the police and to put him in jail. …
In the face of the hunting and persecution from the CCP government and Elder Sun, Yu Congguang earnestly prayed to and relied on God, resolving to bring to God those in the local house church who truly believed in God and who sought and studied the true way. After several setbacks, Yu Congguang, Zheng Xun and others had no choice but to gather together among the reeds, in the basement, or in the cave for fellowship about Almighty God’s word. … Because Zheng Xun and several others investigated the Eastern Lightning, Elder Sun regarded them as foes, and the church split up into two groups. Faced with this situation, Zheng Xun and his co-workers felt pain and confusion. Yu Congguang fellowshiped with them about the words of Almighty God directing at their puzzlement, and he also expounded on what is faith in God and what kind of faith will be approved by God. At last, Zheng Xun and the others understood the truth, and their puzzlement, difficulties, and deviations in their belief in the Lord were resolved. All of them got liberated in their heart, and sighed that after years of belief, they finally realized the true meaning of faith in God.
Lin Bo’en had believed in the Lord for decades and was a senior preacher. Ever since his acceptance of Almighty God, Christ of the last days, he had been confronted with the condemnation and rejection of the pastors, elders, and antichrist forces in the religious world and was eventually expelled from the religion. In the face of such attack, condemnation, and frame-up, Lin Bo’en didn’t shrink back but instead had a firmer faith. Also, this showed him that the pastors and elders were hypocrites in substance and at the same time allowed him to realize that only Christ is the truth, the way, and the life and that only Christ can save, purify, and perfect man. Hence, he made up his mind to follow and bear witness to Christ, pursue the truth and the transformation of his disposition as best as he could, so as to be a true witness to God. However, the CCP government learned that Lin Bo’en didn’t get reformed after his release: He not only continued his belief, but even converted to the Eastern Lightning and testified everywhere that the Lord Jesus had come back and that He was Almighty God. They issued a wanted poster for him and hunted him everywhere, so Lin Bo’en had no choice but to leave home. He went everywhere testifying to Almighty God’s work of the last days and brought to God a lot of true believers who had a good humanity. This film tells a real story of how Lin Bo’en preached the gospel to testify to God.
Song Ruiming was a pastor of a certain church in South Korea. Over many years of his belief in the Lord, he had been pursuing fervently, spending and working for the Lord, waiting for the Lord to come and rapture him to the kingdom of heaven. However, in recent years, what laid before him was the increasingly desolate church that lost the work of the Holy Spirit: The preachers had nothing new to talk about, and believers were all weak and passive. As such, Song Ruiming made his decision to go to China and investigate the Eastern Lightning there. After Song Ruiming and Missionary Cui Cheng’en arrived in China, they suffered some frustration and finally met Co-worker Chen Xin who was looking into the Eastern Lightning. Through reading Almighty God’s words, Song Ruiming found that all that Almighty God says is the truth and is exactly the voice of God. He sensed the Eastern Lightning is far more likely to be the reappearance and work of the Lord! However, when he gathered with the preachers of the Eastern Lightning to hear their testimony about Almighty God’s work of the last days, a religious co-worker in China betrayed them by reporting them to the police. As a result, Song Ruiming and Cui Cheng’en were captured by the CCP police and were forcibly sent back to South Korea. Back to his own country, Song Ruiming was particularly lost and distressed and he tried every possible means to contact the Church of Almighty God. It lasted until one day he came across the Korean website of the Church of Almighty God online. He then learned that the Eastern Lightning was already spread to South Korea and there was the Church of Almighty God established there. This news came as a great surprise to Song Ruiming, and he gathered the brothers and sisters in his church and took them to the Church of Almighty God for an investigation of Almighty God’s work of the last days. Through the fellowship and testimony of the preachers, Song Ruiming and his fellow believers made certain that Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus, and readily accepted Almighty God’s work of the last days. As such, they were raptured before God’s throne and found the path to the kingdom of heaven. His dream of the heavenly kingdom has finally come true!

The Mystery of Godliness
Lin Bo'en was an elder at a house church in China. During all his years as a believer, he felt honored to suffer for the Lord, and valued the knowledge and attainment of the Lord Jesus Christ above anything else in the world.
